Limp Mode is a program mode your transmission will go into when it senses certain readings and malfunctions. The transmission will stay in 3rd gear and you cannot shift out. Only park, revers and 3rd gear work. No it's not an Enzyte problem!1- Unbolt the engine oil dip stick tube, so you can push it back while lifting the cover. 2- Unbolt and pull out the transmission oil dip stick tube. If any sensor shows a sign of a problem it will put the transmission into limp mode, "second gear". It can be anything from the temp sensor to the speed sensor, doesn't have to be a trans ....
