Rounds are fed from the magazine into the feed throat and subsequently lifted to the bolt to be chambered. In much older versions of the Marlin Model 60, the feed throats had built-in ejectors. All it consists of is an overhanging claw that is molded into the form of the feed throat.Now that one needed some parts and a conversion kit, but for $65.00 she's good as new. I'm still playing with a 1996 60SS, round would coome up like it was suppose to but after firing a few magazines worth, the spent cases were found to be dragging over the top of the round in the feed throat.
