That being said, Staccato offers some of the best out there. I have some barrels going strong after 1,500 rounds but all barrels will wear. DLC wear just has more contrast that stainless steel.But the real point is that's the price point of any solid 1911 or 2011. We've gotten used to glocks, sigs, S&W, etc and they're all typically $700 or less. But if you want a halfway decent 1911 you're spending 1500 at minimum. When you think about it that way the staccato non-comp line is really fairly priced imo.
