The main function of that oil is to keep the clutch cool, and lubricate the primary chain. It's not pumped under pressure like in the motor.. Ihss san jose

Changed the fluid in all 3 holes on a 2004 Fatboy, Twin Cam 88B engine. Went with Amsoil 20W-50 in crankcase, Amsoil Severe Gear in tranny & Amsoil Supershift in primary. If all you are doing is changing the primary oil, you just remove the small drain plug, check condition of o-ring (replace if needed), and refill (with right amount) thru the inspection cover which does not always have to have a new gasket.
