The serial number is MC22041083 and reading info online would mean made in muse china April of 2022 or 1922. Can anyone help me find the real build date? The serial number is located on the neck plate by the way.My one is a 2005 Gibson Les Paul '57 with a 1957 serial number and has R7 stamped into the pots cavity. I bought mine because I grew up a Guns N' Roses fan and loved guitar and I knew before I knew who Gibson were, that Slash's pickups were why his guitar sounded so great. I have a 73 Custom, serial # 113XXX. The pots date to the 48th week of November, 1973. I am trying to figure out if this guitar would have been sold as a 73 or a 74 model. The 74's have the Twentieth Anniversary Inlay ....
