Dexcom bleeders . Anyone ever have a Dexcom bleeder several hours after insertion? I inserted a new G6 sensor this morning and about ten hours later after a post gym shower blood was everywhere. It was fresh blood, not from this morning. It soaked right through the shirt I was wearing. It seems less likely with the G7 than with the G6 because I remember seeing bleeding with the G6 like 3 or 4 times in like more than 3 years. So far with 5 G7's, no bleeders on upper arm. The bleeding G6's were on either upper thigh or abdomen. Bleeding eventually stopped with no further complications of course with good cleaning. The most accurate CGM system1. I always have a cotton ball with me when putting in my sensor. If it starts bleeding, I just hold the cotton ball up to it for a while and check periodically if its done. Dexcom making me bleed a lot . Last night I put on a dexcom and it made me bleed and hurt so badly I had to take it off. Tonight I also did and within 10 seconds the sensor was filled with blood and dripping. The first time I had it on my upper thigh and tonight was on the back of my arm.
