I feel like it isn’t actually common to tell a sorcerer to multi class into either cleric or wizard. The biggest problem with both can easily be described with the issue of spell modifier for Wizard/Sorc and the lack of charges of divinity for storm cleric (1 per short rest so a total of 3 charges per long rest). The other factor that potentially works in the Storm Sorcerer's favor over Draconic is the defensive.
